Thank you for shopping with Gold and Sparrow. We strive to offer premium quality ethnic wear for women and ensure customer satisfaction. Please read our Refund Policy carefully to understand the conditions under which refunds are issued.

The Perfect Fit Promise

Every Gold and Sparrow piece is handcrafted in India and can be tailored to your measurements — so it fits you, not an average. Here is how we keep that promise fair and worry-free:

  • Made-to-fit & custom orders — if it doesn’t fit as promised, we’ll re-alter or remake it free. Just reach out within 10 days of delivery and we cover the alteration shipping. (As each piece is cut to your measurements, custom orders aren’t eligible for a refund — but we’ll always make it fit.)
  • Standard sizes — return or exchange unworn items with tags within 5 days of delivery.
  • A fault, or our mistake — we’ll repair, replace or fully refund it, always.

To get your fit right the first time, follow our size guide, or message us and we’ll help you confirm your measurements before we begin. If it doesn’t fit, we’ll fix it — free.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are provided only under the following conditions:

  • You received a damaged or defective product.
  • You received the wrong item.
  • Your order was cancelled by Gold and Sparrow due to stock or logistics issues.

Note: Refunds are not applicable if:

  • The product was used, washed, or altered.
  • The product does not fit (size exchange may be available instead).
  • The issue is based on slight color variation due to lighting or screen display.
  • The return request is made after 5 days of delivery.

2. Refund Process

If your refund request is approved:

  • A reverse pickup will be arranged (where available).
  • The product must be returned in unused condition with all tags intact.
  • After inspection, your refund will be processed.

3. Refund Timeline

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Refunds to original payment method: 5–7 working days
  • Refunds to wallet/store credit: within 2 working days
  • Refund time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Sale items, discounted products, or items bought during promotions
  • Customized or altered products
  • Accessories or gift items

5. Cancellation & Refund

You may request cancellation before your order is shipped. If approved:

  • Prepaid orders: Full refund issued
  • COD orders: No refund applicable (order simply gets cancelled)

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are non-refundable, except when:

  • The product received is damaged or incorrect
  • The order is cancelled from our side before dispatch
